Holiday Inn Express are a chain run as part of the Holiday Inn Chain. In Europe these are owned by Bass. Further information can be found on the website. Breaks can also be booked by phoning 0800 015 2396 from the UK and quoting "weekender".

The site has comprehensive information on the hotels as well as offers running. There is a good map based location finder and online booking.

Norfolk Line
Heralds the return of Website of the Week. Picking up the ferrry theme from a few weeks ago, Norfolk Line is a shipping and transport group that started operating car ferries on the Dover - Dunkerque route in 2000.
Its ships are very new and comply with the latest safety requirements of SOLAS. They run up to 6 sailings a day with a crossing time of 2 hours.
The site concentrates mainly on the transport side of the group and does not allow online booking. You can however print out a booking form and fax it to them.

Stena HSSStena Line UK
Stena Line operate ferries from Scandanavia throughout Northern Europe to Ireland. The fleet comprises conventional RORO ferries and High Speed Ships.
Stena Line UK serve:
Belfast - Stanraer
Dublin - Holyhead
Dun Laoghaire -Holyhead
Rosslare - Fishguard
Harwich - Hook of Holland
The site is stylish, loads quickly and is very easy to navigate. All the usual functions are offered from route details, ships, prices, timetables and easy online booking. Additionally they offer Holiday Packages in Ireland and Holland via a separate site.

RailEurope
Rail Europe sell rail tickets and rail passes for all of Europe. They have two main sites an American site and a UK site. The American site currently offers more online bookings. On the UK site Eurostar Plus fares currently have to be booked by phone. The sites have numerous rail passes on sale ranging from Under 26's all Europe passes to single country passes.
Individual tickets can be purchased by entering Departure and destination points. The site also has rail maps of Europe and individual countries.

Irish Ferries
Returning to the Website of the Week we will look at Ferries again. This week our subject is Irish Ferries. They operate between Ireland and the UK / France.
The site is huge, so it goes without saying that you will probably find all your'e looking for and more. Details of ferry routes, the fleet (including 360° webviews), prices and online booking.
