Late booking deals |
|||||||||||||||
| One
way of getting a good deal on a travel package is to book at the last
minute. Usually this means leaving booking until a fortnight before your
departure. Although you may not be able to get your exact choice of
destination the number of offers available is surprising. Hotel rooms,
apartments, flights and packages can all be found at a substantial
discount if still unsold 2 weeks prior to departure. A number of Internet based companies have sprung up to cater for this market. The most famous of theses in the UK being Lastminute.com. This market is also being tapped by the providers themselves, just look for Bargains or late bookings on their websites. Some Late Booking Companies Lastminute.com Priceline (see banner) |
Note, that when booking
through Lastminute.com, Degriftour etc. you will usually not be informed
of the organisation with unsold rooms or seats until after you have
booked. In many cases a little research on the Internet can identify the
seller, but it is not important as most offers are with reputable
partners. I have used Degriftour in the past and found the service to be efficient and the savings substantial - 30% in our case! |
