The original objective of the Eurapart site was to cover Self Catering Apartments for family vacations in Europe. The e-mails received nearly all requested information on budget hotel accommodation.
This was where we started, but now we have information on other accommodation from Hostels through to luxury hotels.

The type of hotel found in the different countries in Europe varies considerably. France has numerous cheap budget Hotel Chains which are now expanding into other European countries. Italy though does not have anywhere near as many hotel chains.

When Eurapart started the likes of Formule 1, ETAP etc. did not have websites. We would provide hotel addresses and telephone numbers on request. Of these hotel requests, Paris was the most popular destination.
