Germany
Germany is one of the larger countries in Europe since re-unification
following the destruction on the berlin Wall in 1989. Extending from
the North and Baltic Seas down to the Bavarian Alps it has a diverse
mixture of landscapes from The Black Forest to the vineyards alongside
the Rhine and Mosselle to sprawling industrial centres. Many of the big
cities were heavily bombed but excellent examples of ancient towns and
castles survive especially along the Romantik Road.
Germany is renowned for its beers and quality engineering from cars to
domestic appliances. |
