Flybe improves Business Class service
Flybe the Exeter based low cost airline is to improve its service for business travellers. It is to inject £4 million into its ‘Economy Plus’ service. With British Airways cutting services for business travellers, flybe is hoping to attract new business class passengers.
The airline will:
Improve sixteen lounges across its United Kingdom airports
Ensure it delivers the United Kingdom’s most generous frequent flyer programme.
Install WiFi across flybe lounges including Jersey, Guernsey, Belfast, Southampton and Gatwick.
Introduce an online check in facility to reduce waiting at airports
Currently 40% of the passengers on flybe’s flights are flying for business purposes. Its research has shown that there is a lucrative market for low cost business travel.
