Atlas Air orders new Bombardier aircraft

Atlasjet, the low cost airline based in Istanbul, Turkey has placed an order for three 90 seat Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft. The order is worth $107 million USD. The airline has been operating two previously owned 70 seater CRJ700 on its domestic routes in Turkey.
Atlasjet started up in 2001 with two Boeing 757 aircraft. Its fleet comprises of six Boeing 757, nine Airbus A320 (with three Airbus 319 on order) and two Bombardier CRJ700 jets. The airline serves more than 50 scheduled and charter destinations in Turkey and Europe.
