Shannon gets four extra Ryanair routes

Ryanair announced today (1 December 2005), that it will add connections to:
- Manchester, UK
- Wroclaw, Poland
- Rome, Italy
- Murcia, Spain
The new routes will start up on 22nd February 2006 and each will run three times per week. This brings the total number of routes served by Shannon to 19.
Speaking today, Ryanair's CEO Michael O'Leary, said:
"Ryanair launched its Shannon base in May and monthly Ryanair traffic at the airport has trebled. Ryanair has delivered dramatic growth at Shannon airport as promised. This is good news for business and tourism in the mid-west."
The new routes also tie in with Continental Airways who fly from New York-Newark to the Airport. They will be adding a second daily flight from from Shannon from 3rd May, 2006.
