Ryanair £2 seats*
The prices of the seats in the current sale seats sound more like cinema tickets, but even they are not that cheap. You don't have to pay airport taxes and charges in a cinema though do you?
Any excuse and Ryanair have a sale. Its better than making excuses to raise the prices though, such as the rising fuel costs etc used by some scheduled airlines.
Today's excuse, sorry I mean reason to celebrate, is that following the sale of the older aircraft, the average age of Ryanair's fleet is now less than 2 years old. To mark this achievement they are selling seats on a good selection of routes for £2, plus taxes and charges, which we are assured will not exceed £15.20.
*These fares can be booked from 20 December 2005 to 22 December 2005 for any flight Monday to Sunday between 27 December 2005 and 25 March 2006. There some blackout periods of 10 February 2006 to 20 February 2006 and March 2006 to 21 March 2006. Also excluded are holidays, school breaks and major sporting events. Fares are one way excluding taxes and charges, but I have already said that.
