Flight attendant tried to save crash plane

A flight attendant tried to save the Helios Airways Boeing 737-300 after it lost cabin pressure and the flight crew were overcome. This is what crash investigators revealed yesterday. The 25 year old flight attendant got hold of a portable supply of oxygen and entered the cockpit and gained manual control of the aircraft and attempted to fly it for 10 minutes before the aircraft ran out of fuel and crashed into a hillside. In all 121 people were killed on the Larnaca to Prague via Athens flight on 14 August this year.
Yesterday another 737 was flown to re-enact the flight. The symbolic flight number 121 in memory of the dead was used to designate the flight.
