Budget Morroccan Airline to fly to Europe
A new venture from three Moroccan businesses and the German Tourist company TUI AG is to start up in March 2006. The airline will be called Jet4you and will initially operate two leased aircraft with expansion plans envisaging a fleet of ten aircraft by by 2010 carrying 1.7 million passengers.
The airline will benefit from an "open skies" agreement between Morocco and the European Union. It should provide some cheap flights from Europe to Morocco. TUI is to take a 40% stake in Jet4you encouraged by Morocco's developing tourist industry.
