After concentrating on the short ferry routes to France, lets look at the routes to Normandy: Portsmouth to Le Havre Portsmouth to Cherbourg Poole to Cherbourg Portsmouth to Caen We will look at Easter again. As usual we will endeavour to be objective as possible. Remember the Ferry Ticket Agents such as Ferrysavers can often offer tickets cheaper than the ferry companies. The table below displays the last price comparison survey of ferries and ferry agents carried out by Eurapart on 11 Feb 03 when a lot of the early deals had expired. The cheapest Standard Return fares start at a low £283 for Ferrysavers on the Brittany Ferries Portsmouth - Caen route. Ferry.co.uk who came out cheapest on the short Channel crossings do not offer these routes. Comments: Ferry.co.uk do not offer fares for these routes. Ferrysavers were able to beat Brittany Ferries' own fares while AFerry.to and Direct Ferries were more expensive.
