Whereas Formule 1 are the bargain basement budget hotel chain,
ETAP specifications are more impressive. ETAP do however have
deals for children under 12 who can share a parents room for
free. Usually the second and third person is free.
Rooms are only accessible via reception which is open from 06:30 to 11:00 (07:30 to 11:00 Sundays and Bank Holidays) and from 17:00 to 22:00. Outside these hours you can telephone a reservation 6:30 to 22:00 (7:00 to 22:00 Sundays). Alternatively you can pay for your room with an automatic booking machine outside the reception using a credit card (Eurocard, Mastercard, CB, Visa, American Express). Entry to your room is by electronic lock using the code number supplied. The same code also opens the main door to Reception.
Rooms come furnished with a double bed and overhead bunk bed. They have an ensuite bathroom with washbasin, shower and WC. Bathrooms are more spacious and better equipped than other budget chains. The rooms also have a writing shelf and chair as well as a remote control colour TV. Channels available vary from according to location but usually include International channels. WifI is available (charged) in public areas and most rooms.

Breakfast is available (6h30 to 10h00) in the Reception area. On offer is an "eat as much as you like" continental breakfast of bread, preserves, orange juice, and Fair Trade, tea, coffee and chocolate.Booking an Etap hotel
